School Services

Parents can rest easy when their child uses a Pilkington Bus to get to school. We work closely with schools to ensure children using our school services are well behaved. You can also buy tickets via our app which is a secure and more convenient way for a child to buy a ticket. 

If a child has any issues with a ticket or perhaps forgets money to buy a ticket our drivers will always allow the child to travel, they will take their child’s name and pass it onto the office manager who will liaise with school.

You can track our buses via the app and the website which gives your peace of mind knowing when the bus will be arriving. There are instances when delays are out of our control, the tracking feature is a useful tool in these circumstances.

Our buses are also fitted with CCTV, we regularly monitor our school buses which means a member of staff will be at different bus stops along the way to ensure all children are seated and that there are no issues. 

We run our school network efficiently which means we can keep our school fares lower than the average school fare.

St Augustine’s is connected to our services from Rishton, Great Harwood, Burnley, Padiham, Simonstone and Read.

Ribblesdale is connected to our services from Accringto, Clayton le Moors, Great Harwood, Barrowford, Fence, Higham, Padiham, and Read.

Clitheroe Grammar is connected to our services from Accrington, Clayton le Moors, Great Harwood, Lammack, Salesbury, and Brockhall.
